At every Alpbach meeting we honour an outstanding scientist of our field in the last session on Thursday afternoon. This time we will honour Peter Kim (Stanford) for his exceptional contributions to our understanding of the structure, dynamics and functions of coiled-coil assemblies. His Guest Lecture will be complemented by two invited lectures given by Jim Wells and Bill DeGrado, both from UCSF. Further confirmed speakers include
